Qatar TESOL Conference 2014 -  Call For Proposals

On 21 & 22 February, 2014, Qatar TESOL will be hosting its 10th annual conference at the College of the North Atlantic-Qatar.

We invite you to submit a proposal for the 2014 conference. The theme of this year's conference is Promoting a Culture of Reading. Proposals which focus on the conference theme will receive first consideration; however, all proposals, particularly practical and pragmatic presentations, on English Language Teaching will be gratefully received and vetted.

Presenting

Presenting at Qatar TESOL is not just for well-known professionals, it is a way for all of us to take an active role in our teaching community, ask important questions, share our knowledge, and learn from the experience of others. Teachers and administrators from the following areas are invited to present:

• Primary schools
• Secondary schools
• Independent schools
• University / College preparatory/foundation programs
• Adult education institutions

This form requires you to submit details of each presenter (biodata), the type & title of your presentation, a description of the session and an abstract for the conference program. Types of Proposals

Qatar TESOL invites proposals for papers, workshops, poster sessions, publisher presentations and special interest group (SIG) discussions. When submitting your proposal, consider the categories below it:

Conference Registration Fees: Q.R. 150

Important Dates

• Proposal submission start date: Sept. 15th , 2013
• Proposal submission deadline: November 4th, 2013. (Extended to
  November 16th, 2013)
• Proposal review process: November 17th - November 27th, 2013

How to Submit Your Proposal:

You must submit a separate online proposal form for each topic. This form requires you to submit details of the presenter (biodata), the type & title of your presentation, a description of the session and an abstract for the conference program.  Only online submissions will be accepted. Please do not send your proposal in the body of an email.
