The Gulf Region
The international TESOL association is organizing a conference on “Putting Research into Practice” in Doha in October 2011. There are two important points which came from this notice as far as Qatar TESOL is concerned:
- TESOL International would like to have the local affiliate (Qatar TESOL)’s support. The link to The international TESOL association conference is here.
- Please note: it is acceptable for presenters to present at both the TESOL International conference and the Qatar TESOL conference. However, please note that an acceptance to present at Qatar TESOL’s April 2011 conference does not mean an automatic acceptance to present at the TESOL International October 2011 conference. This is important information for people who would like to submit proposals to present at both conferences. It is possible to submit proposals (on the same topic) to both conferences and it is possible to present (on the same topic) at both conferences should your proposals be accepted at both.
